4.1.3 3 Special purpose fittings, furnishings and equipment

Furnishings, fittings and non-mechanical or non-electrical equipment fixed to the building fabric or provided loose within the building. ‘Special’ in the sense that they are designed for the particular purpose(s) of the building and are likely to be obtained from a specialist supplier or specialist contractor for use within the building.
