Description
Hobelspäne from softwood species (mainly spruce, possibly small amounts of fir and pine) impregnated with whey and soda for flame retardant and mold protection.
Application
Thermal and acoustic insulation for roofs, ceilings, and walls as non-load-bearing cavity insulation in timber construction; can also be used in cavities of steel constructions but only factory-installed in prefabricated components.
